This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM are joined by Rob Rector to watch the hell out of Sinners and From Dusk till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money. Turns out, the Dusk till Dawn sequel isn't any good. Sinners, of course, is amazing. Tune in to find out what the Count is watching, and stay for a non-recommendation from Rob.

607 - Dollar Sign
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch a couple of vampire movies. Day Shift is much worse than it needs to be but thinks it's better than it is, and DM thinks Vamipres set the tone for From Duck Till Dawn. Tune in for a videogame suggestion, and stay for some trivia about Clueless.

602 - All Morbs, No Waiting
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM waste their time and yours on Morbius. There is no reason why this film should be this bad. Tune in for a glowing recommendation or Top Gun: Maverick, and stay to hear DM embarrass herself in trivia.

567 - Weirdpires
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM check out a couple of vampire movies. Thirst (2019) is weird and fun, and not to be confused with the dozens of other movies called Thirst. Boys From County Hell is also weird and fun at times, but flawed. Still probably worth seeing if only for the cool way the vampire feeds. Tune in for a truly appalling showing by DM in horror trivia, and stay for a list that has the same movie on it twice.

251 - That Was a Rough Cut
Check out Petr's other videos here.
This week you friends Count Vardulon and DM take in the strange combination of action and absurdity that is the Korean disaster movie. This week's Loonie Movie is also a bizarre combo of right and wrong. Tune in to hear about how Cracked doesn't understand Die Hard, and stay to find out who's got a great soundtrack.

241 - Play Through It
This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM get back to business with a terrible Loonie Movie, and two other movies that are also not great. Surviving Evil has a good idea at its core, and Blood Shot doesn't know it's a comedy. Tune in to find out who's a winner, and stay to hear a discussion that should have happened a year ago.

227 - The Platonic Ideal
This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and DM review a mixed bag of films: a bad found footage movie, a bland Loonie Movie, and a good Japanese movie. Tune in to find out who has ill-formed ideas about film criticism, and stay to hear about film festivals.

210 - Dream Sequences Suck
This week on TheAvod your friends Count Vardulon and DM really don't like what Hemlock Grove has to offer in its second half. They also don't like their Loonie Movie but for different reasons. Tune in to find out what MTV has planned for your future, and stay to hear how to build an effective movie trailer.

209 - Anything But Hirsute
This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch half of the Netflix original series, Hemlock Grove. By some miracle, Eli Roth only comes up once when talking about the show he executively produced. Other things that come up include folkore, spoilers, and pretty-boys. In addition to nearly seven hours of television, DM and the Count watched a loonie movie that only felt like it was seven hours long. Tune in to find out who's got a lot of time on their hands, and stay to hear some boderline racist film commentary from the 1970s.

197 - Punch of the Frankenstein
This week on TheAvod your friends Count Vardulon and DM investigate a couple of murder mysteries, one of which is pretty good. The other is too thinly plotted to actually serve as a proper mystery. Is Fist of the Vampire worth a dollar? Find out in this week's Loonie Movies. Tune in to hear the Count complain some more about The Following and click here to watch something new!
Poll results: How are you dealing with your haunted apartment?
I'm ignoring it until it goes away 58%
I'm taking pills 14%
I'm hiring a shady psychic
I'm moving out 28%

195 - Just kill one of them, please
This week on TheAvod your friends Count Vardulon and DM make the mistake of selecting a movie simply because Val Kilmer appears on the box. Other bad ideas include watching a sequel to a movie the Count really hated, and Area 51. Tune to find out what TV show isn't premiering this winter, and stay to hear DM reminisce about The Devils Rejects when she should be reviewing The Thompsons.
Poll results: Why are you on the run?
Framed for murder 58%
Committed murder 0%

119 - You Made Your Movie Wrong
This week The Divemistress is very ill. But Count Vardulon isn't going to let that get in the way of complaining about terrible movies! The Vanquisher proves to be impossible to understand, and not because it's largely in Thai, and The Traveler is similarly difficult to wrap your head around, but only because it's so stupid. Sherlock Holmes: The Last Vampyre, on the other hand, is totally worth watching.
Poll Results:
Q. Who's haunted the haunted house?
A1. A physical manifestation of your dread.
A2. Ghosts
A3. The Owner

When it rains it pours! As a special holiday treat, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress chat with hard-horror author Drew Stepek about his latest novel, Knuckle Supper. Join the fun as they discuss Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, tear-jerker animated movies, and Jeremy Renner. Oh yeah, and Knuckle Supper, too.

90 - Tentacle Make-Out Session
It's TheAvod's 90th episode and to celebrate, Count Vardulon admits to being wrong about something. He also admits to being woefully under-informed about Hatchet 2. Three wildly disparate movies are under the microscope this week, the sequel to 30 Days of Night, the latest Superman/Batman pairing, and the "I-can't-believe-how-badly-marketed-this-movie-is" Monsters. Tune in to hear all about the worst show on TV!
Poll results: It's unanimous! Social commentary must not always be present in a horror movie, not even if it's zombies.

76 - Fangtastic!
This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress discuss some modern takes on good old-fashioned vampires. How did Ann Rice revolutionize vampire fiction? What did Stephanie Meyer do or didn't do for vampire folklore? And how does True Blood manage to be both amazing and terrible? We have the answers!

Tune it to find out what movies people are most nostalgic about and whether Rob is a good date. In a Colbert-inspired meta moment, The Count and the DM cover the coverage of pop-culture's latest craze, vampires.
