689 - New Year's Heresy

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM begin 2025 by watching a couple of movies that came out in 2024. Heretic could have been great, and Hugh Grant is awesome all day, but it's ultimately kind of pointless. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is lots of fun even if it has a lots of problems. Tune in for a too-long video game recommendation, and stay for a bad joke. Also, DM wrote a book and you should buy it and read it.

 

657 - Kingbruary Week 3

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM wrap up their month of catching up with Stephen King by watching a couple of King sequels. Doctor Sleep is really quite good, and everyone is surprised by how much they enjoyed The Rage: Carrie 2, even if its title is backwards. 656 - Kingbruary Week 2

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch the original Pet Sematary and it's sequel, Pet Sematary 2. The first one takes too long to get going, but when it does it's pretty wild. The sequel is just kinda bonkers right from the start. Tune for a movie recommendation, and stay for the easiest horror trivia question ever.

654 - Into the MercenaryVerse

This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch two sequels about mercenaries and work really hard to pronounce the movie titles as they are written. Expendables 4 is a real let-down, but Extraction 2 totally delivers on all of the action. Tune in to find out what DM is watching, and stay for a surprise guest!

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM begin the new year by watching a couple of sequels. The new Hellraiser has great stuff going on, but it's a total mess. The new Candyman, on the other hand, is so much better than anyone could have imagined. Tune in for some gushing over Criminal Minds, and stay for new horror trivia.

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM ring in the new year by talking about a movie set in the past. Wonder Woman 1984 is colourful and very Wonder Womany, but also flawed in weird ways. This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM continue Halloween month by watching a couple of sequels to movies they've covered during past Halloween seasons. While opinions are split on Hell House LLC 3, everyone agrees that All Hallows Eve 2 doesn't have much going for it. Tune in for a puzzling Halloween movie list, and stay for a long conversation about how much Xander from Buffy sucks as a person.

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch sequels to movies they haven't seen and speculate as to what happens in those first films. Paranoia Tapes 2: Press Play manages to screw up its framing device, and Haunted 2: Apparitions might be the most boring ghost hunting movie ever made. Tune for some complaining about the new Unsolved Mysteries, and stay for a mini-review of a new movie on Prime.

461 - A Welcome Return

This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM check out two more Xmas horror movies. One of them was actually kind of entertaining, which is surprising given it's a sequel to a truly terrible movie. The other might be good, but it's too long and too dark to know for sure. Tune in for more Jeopardy rantings, and stay for bad list of awful movies.

434 - Alien Stabbing

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch a couple of scifi sequels, neither of which is very good. Here's hoping the third installments are either animated or cancelled. Tune in for a video game review for an 11 year-old game, and stay for a questionable list.

409 - Statuesque

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM whole-heartedly recommend Blade Runner 2049--but don't bother with the 3D version. It's unclear whether they recommend seeing Cult of Chucky because while it may be kinda fun, it's not very good. Tune in find out what documentaries you should be watching, and stay to hear about an upcoming horror movie that has everyone rightfully upset.
