140 - You Think You're Too Good to Rip Off Halloween?

This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch three random movies and it goes just about as well as you would expect: a boring serial killer, an ill-fitting costume, and a slasher film that should have ripped of Halloween but didn't.  Tune in to see DM nitpick YouTube comments, and find out what's playing on TV in the UK.  If you happened to have missed out on the Zach Ward/Brendon Fletcher conversation, it's repeated here.

139 - 50 Cent's Career May Be Stalled

This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM take in three direct-to-video movies of varying quality.  As it turns out, one of the movies they chose isn't technically a movie, but a TV series so bad it was repackaged and sold as a film.  Unsurprisingly, Count Vardulon kind of enjoyed it. Tune in hear about how Frank Miller is a racist jerk, learn how many films DM hasn't seen, and listen to so viewer mail.

Poll results: Found footage or mocumentary?

138 - Hardcore Idol Worship

This week DM was foiled in her attempt to watch Paranormal Activity 2: Tokyo Night so the found footage/mocumentary theme show she and Count Vardulon had planned for this week turned into a show about haunted asylums.  Tune in to find out why The Mentalist is darker and edgier than you think, and why no one should watch Episode 50.  Episode 2 of American Horror Story, on the other hand, was better than expected.

Poll results: How are you liking American Horror Story?
Yes  28%
No  14%
I don't know  14%
I have no idea what that is  42%

137 - Pay No Attention to the Man with the Drill

DM totally carved this herself.

It's a post-Halloween show that has very little to do with Halloween, but a lot to do with early 80s horror.  It's a trio of films about cattle mutilations, pits, and gorked-out freaks (whatever the hell that is).  Find out when the Simpsons tanked, and how much The Count enjoys Spooks.  DM's not sure how she feels about American Horror Story, but she'll keep watching it.

Poll results: How do you celebrate Halloween?
72% Watch more horror movies in general.
28% Every day is Halloween in my house.
