197 - Punch of the Frankenstein
This week on TheAvod your friends Count Vardulon and DM investigate a couple of murder mysteries, one of which is pretty good. The other is too thinly plotted to actually serve as a proper mystery. 196 - Strobe Lights Confuse Ghosts
This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and DM really don't like 2/3 of what they watched. While Apartment 143 might have some interesting character stuff, the film's attempts at novelty are drowned out by loud noises, and in a new segment which they're calling "Loonie Movies," DM and the Count consider whether Last of the Living is worth a dollar. The Next Three Days, on the other hand, is well worth seeing even though it stars Russell Crowe. Tune in to find out what is and isn't an action movie, and stay to hear about the greatest SNL skit that isn't about cowbells.

This week on TheAvod your friends Count Vardulon and DM make the mistake of selecting a movie simply because Val Kilmer appears on the box. Other bad ideas include watching a sequel to a movie the Count really hated, and Area 51. Tune to find out what TV show isn't premiering this winter, and stay to hear DM reminisce about The Devils Rejects when she should be reviewing The Thompsons.

194 - Dear David Wong
This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and DM have a huge bone to pick with David Wong. They also rail against low rent horror movie Bear and the Syfy original Mothman. The Nicholas Cage vehicle Seeking Justice, on the other hand, gets a pass. Tune to hear who's likes cider, and stay to find out who just achieved a major accomplishment in a field that doesn't matter.
