59 - Those Are Not Mixed Feelings

This week your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress ruin the movie Triangle for anyone who hasn't seen it. They also spoil Alone in the Dark 2, but that seems less of a tragedy and more a public service. The DM runs down the list of Best Picture Oscar nominations and The Count registers his distaste for each one. The two lament the passing of Dollhouse, and The Count wants you to know that he knows someone who's been mistaken for Daft Punk. And PS, Lance Henrickson is good at his job.

57 - Joss Whedon is Secretly Our Fan

This week on TheAvod, Count Vardulon and The Divemistress talk all manner of genre TV: Fringe, Medium, and of course Dollhouse. The Count waxes philosophical about time travel in his discussion about The Butterfly Effect 3, and The DM gushes about how much she enjoyed Versus. Tune in to hear The Count and The DM weigh in on the Late Nite kerfuffle, and listen out for a review of the first episode of the new Kids in the Hall mini-series, Death Comes to Town.

56 - I Want to Live in a World with Only Mediocre Spider-Man Movies

This week your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress talk about the amazing things that happened on Dollhouse last Friday. But before they get to that, they cover Daybreakers and Home Movie. Listen to The DM complain about how The Count missed her birthday! Hear how The Count finally watched District 9!

52 - I Heart Alan Tudyk

This week's episode marks exactly one year of weekly broadcasts. However, because TheAvod is only sort-of weekly, the importance is lost on Count Vardulon and The Divemistress. After acknowledging a request to talk a bit about Spiderman, The Count ventures far off topic to talk instead about Dr. Horrible. NCIS LA is again put under the microscope as the duo complain yet again about how bad the show is, and The DM tries to elevate the discussion by talking about opera. Since Dollhouse is freaking amazing, they talk a lot about that, and then, in keeping with talking about good things, they move on to the original Black Christmas. Tune in for a holiday gift exchange, and find out what everyone got for Christmas! Click here to find out what's wrong with the Star Wars prequels!

51 - Microsoft Has Excellent Customer Service

This picture proves that time travel is magic.

This week your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress passionately disagree about Dexter. Can you guess who likes it and who doesn't? But it's not all about diametric oppositions, because they both agree that Dollhouse was excellent last week and Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon is a wonderful film. Tune in to hear about how they didn't watch Syfy's Alice, and listen to the Count talk too much about Rocket Robin Hood.

32 - We Could Kill A Child

The stars aligned this week so that Count Vardulon and the Divemistress could bring you a non-holiday themed show. Tune in to hear the duo discuss evil children in film and the people who love to watch them die. The DM reviews Village of the Damned, and The Count answers the question: Who can kill a child? Join our friends for a trip down memory lane as The Count recounts being directed by the DM in a high school play.

23 - The Farscape movie wasn't called Moya

In this week's episode Count Vardulon and the Divemistress talk about books! The Count announces a new project and the DM shares her thoughts on pop-culture horror. The duo discuss the fantastic end to Dollhouse and the less fantastic episode 5 of Harper's Island, and have a brief impromptu talk about mother-themed horror movies. Also unplanned is the lengthy argument about movie titles that takes up the last 17 minutes of the episode.

22 - Well, I'm not going to blame me

This week on TheAvod, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress compare their thoughts on episode 4 of Harper's Island. Following that, they then talk, or rather gush, about episode 11 of Dollhouse. The Count "reviews" Wolverine, and the DM for once doesn't ruin the end of a movie in her discussion about Fast and Furious. Also, neither can agree on what exactly "inured" means.

19 - Easter's Island

This week Count Vardulon and the Divemistress start things off with a recap of the misplaced Episode 18. The friends blather on a bit about what's on TV before getting into the thick of things with their thoughts on Harper's Island. In keeping with their newly established tradition of discussing holiday themed horror movies, the Count and the DM turn to Easter horror movies only to discover there are none to be had.

16 - Disturbing Dollhouses

This week your friends talk about a couple of TV shows, one that is on the air right now and one that will be on the air very soon. Making up for a blunder she admitted to on a previous episode, the DM discusses John Carpenter's Christine with the Count. The two then get into a long discourse on disturbing movies, fueled by IGN's list of the 15 most disturbing films. Oh yeah, and Vin Diesel is a big geek.
