31 - More uncomfortable than watching porn

Count Vardulon and the Divemistress are back from a short break and are ready to talk about what was front-of-mind three weeks ago. First up is the welcome end of Harper's Island, which was worse than thought possible. Next comes a rambling review of Transformers 2, which proved to be far more offensive than a movie about giant fighting robots has any right to be. The DM then goes on to briefly complain about Harry Potter and the Count rounds out this week's bitch session by talking about weird experiences with movie rentals.

30 - TheAvod Globe

Even though Harper's Island was off the air for a week, that didn't stop Count Vardulon and the Divemistress from talking about it. John Carpenter and the DM reach new crazy heights, and Mer-man weighs in on the movie Knowing. Godzilla Final wars might be the greatest Godzilla movie ever made, and be sure to stock up on ear plugs this month as Twister is playing all the time on TV.

29 - Happy 142nd!

In this Canada Day themed episode, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress run down a list of Canadian horror movies. They also sum up the latest and stupidest episode of Harper's Island and talk about the late Michael Jackson's contribution to horror.

28 - Scott Pilgrim VS Count Vardulon

This week the Divemistress is in a bad mood but gloating cheers her up a bit. Count Vardulon admits the new Ghostbusters game is fun, and tries to find a way to avoid admitting he was wrong about Harper's Island. The DM reviews a very un-Carptentery Carpenter movie, and the Count so wishes he had FearNet.

27 - Turgid Debate

This week, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress review the independent comic Dusk. The DM finally gets back on the John Carpenter ball with They Live and the Count manages to yet again work Jason Voorhees into the show. Harper's Island is reviewed as usual, the duo talk/argue a bit about the Ghostbusters video game, discuss porno, and the Count ruins all the DM's segues.

26 - Questionable Promotion Techniques

The Divemistress is back! And still Count Vardulon finds a way to talk too much about himself. The DM talks a bit about her trip and the two catch up on Harper's Island. Tune in for a brief history lesson about the Civil War as well as reviews of Eagle Eye and Drag Me To Hell.

23 - The Farscape movie wasn't called Moya

In this week's episode Count Vardulon and the Divemistress talk about books! The Count announces a new project and the DM shares her thoughts on pop-culture horror. The duo discuss the fantastic end to Dollhouse and the less fantastic episode 5 of Harper's Island, and have a brief impromptu talk about mother-themed horror movies. Also unplanned is the lengthy argument about movie titles that takes up the last 17 minutes of the episode.

22 - Well, I'm not going to blame me

This week on TheAvod, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress compare their thoughts on episode 4 of Harper's Island. Following that, they then talk, or rather gush, about episode 11 of Dollhouse. The Count "reviews" Wolverine, and the DM for once doesn't ruin the end of a movie in her discussion about Fast and Furious. Also, neither can agree on what exactly "inured" means.

21 - Narcissus Unchained!

This week on TheAvod, Count Vardulon and the Divemistress agree to disagree about the movie Skinwalkers. They also clash over Harper's Island and the DM admits to feelings of jealously regarding the Count's blog. For once, the pair don't give away the ending to a movie and they urge everyone to run out and see Prince of Darkness. Tune in to hear the geekiest conversation ever about JLU!

20 - The Healing Power of Lies

This week, your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress discuss the in-name-only Boogeyman trilogy. They go wildly off-genre with a discussion about twist endings, and the DM delivers what might be the worst synopsis ever of episode 2 of Harper's Island. Tune in to hear her bitch some more about why she doesn't like the show, and listen to the Count try to convince her she's being overly critical. At least they can agree on one thing: Haper's Island is being horribly marketed. And the movie Confidence isn't very good. Okay, that's two things.

19 - Easter's Island

This week Count Vardulon and the Divemistress start things off with a recap of the misplaced Episode 18. The friends blather on a bit about what's on TV before getting into the thick of things with their thoughts on Harper's Island. In keeping with their newly established tradition of discussing holiday themed horror movies, the Count and the DM turn to Easter horror movies only to discover there are none to be had.
