This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch two wintry movies with the same name: Snow Beast. Snow Beast 2011 isn't great but also isn't terrible, and your hosts are confused about who Jason London plays in the movie. Snow Beast 1977 is surprisingly good for a Jaws rip-off. Tune in for a video game recommendation, and stay to hear DM talk about what's going on outside her window.

693 - We Heart Eyes
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM are joined by Rob Rector to talk all about the brand new in-theatres Valentine's slasher movie, Heart Eyes. It's a fun idea, but doesn't quite stick the landing. Tune in for an impromptu rant about 28 Years Later, and stay for a non-recommendation.

692 - Becky Squared
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM are joined by Rob Rector to watch the two Becky movies. The first one has some tonal problems, and the second appears to have addressed the tone but can't maintain it. Tune in for a movie review and stay for a horror trivia stumper.

691 - MADS About Nature
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM are joined by Rob Rector to discuss two more buzzy films that came out in 2024. In a Violent Nature is a good idea but less good in execution. MADs, on the other hand, is all round pretty great. Tune in for some musings on video games, and stay for a book report.

690 - New Year, New Gore
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM are joined by Rob Rector to visit a couple of big titles from last year. Both are longer than is strictly necessary, but Monkey Man is a good revenge action movie, and The Substance is really great and really gross. Tune in for a discussion about time travel and Terminators, and stay for mini review of Wolf Man. Click here to see Rob on TV, and DM wrote a book.

689 - New Year's Heresy
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM begin 2025 by watching a couple of movies that came out in 2024. Heretic could have been great, and Hugh Grant is awesome all day, but it's ultimately kind of pointless. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is lots of fun even if it has a lots of problems. Tune in for a too-long video game recommendation, and stay for a bad joke. Also, DM wrote a book and you should buy it and read it.

688 - Yule Year's Eve
This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM wrap up the Xmas season and barrel into the new year with one big budget movie and one small budget movie, neither of which are any good. Red One is a bit of a meandering mess, and Terror Train 2 is exactly like the first one, only boring. Tune in for too much random crap, and stay for a twist on a quiz question.
